What is it
A product management internship on an enterprise generative-AI platform built for UnitedHealth Group.
Why I built it
My job was to take UnitedHealth's internal workflows, which were messy and mostly undocumented, and turn them into product, front-end, and data requirements the team could actually build against.
What makes it interesting
This was my first real experience turning a vague enterprise ask into a roadmap. Market research and stakeholder interviews drove what we prioritized, not opinion. I also ran the software engineering interns' sprint work, which cut release cycles by about 15%.
Difficulties & tradeoffs
Most weeks came down to what stakeholders wanted against what engineering could realistically finish in the sprint. Saying no to the right things was the actual skill.
What I built it with
React on Azure with MySQL, run in Agile sprints, with Figma for flows and requirements.
Outcomes
- ~15% faster release cycles
- Led the SWE interns' sprint work
